Bulgaria: Beer consumption register a slight growth
The Bulgarias Brewers Union said that a total of 2.8 million hectolitres of beer has been consumed in the country since the beginning of 2005.
The rate of beer consumption in Bulgaria remained almost the same on a year-on-year basis, although July data show a 9% rise compared to the same month in 2004. Some 595,000 hectolitres of beer was drunk away in July 2005.
Zagorka brewery has the largest share in sales with 32.3% in July, followed by Kamenitsa with 29.56% . Karlsberg has the third place with a share of 15.6 %.
